Video analysis are absolutely mandatory in modern training in order to maximise the improvement of the athlete. Every day at 08:30 we will analyse the world best Slalom racers with the latest World Cup videos. Having memorized perfect positions and movements, you will go right away to the skihall to try to implement that in your skiing.
Afterwards your coach will show and explain you with the help of slow motion and freeze frames two times a day what needs to be improved in your technique. In addition, a map with lots of World Cup pictures will support you to memorize the perfect positions and movements for the next training day. During your meeting with your coach, you will write down all the important advices in your personal Austria Racing Camps training journal.
Daily notes after each training day to keep everything in good memory
At the welcome meeting you will receive your personal Austria Racing Camps training journal. During your video analysis you will make daily notes after each training day with your coach, to keep all the important details in good memory. After your morning sport and cool down program, you should complete your notes with the advices your coach will give you for your work out at home.
The perfect middle position – the foundation for your success
To have a stable and very central position was always a crucial criteria in ski racing. It became even more essential with the implementation of the carving skis and the reduction of the ski length, especially in slalom.
Your coach will help you to find your powerful position with Short Carving training. These special skis with only 99 centimeters of length are provided by Austria Racing Camps. In the afternoon program you will continue working on it with special equipment like Skier’s Egde, slacklines, MFT sport discs, balance boards, unicycles,…

In consideration of the intensity of two Slalom sessions per day, our usual amount of physical training will be cut down for our camp in Wittenburg. The main goal of this training model is to improve the athlete’s Slalom technique as much as possible in a short time. Our morning sport program and World Cup analyses will perfectly prepare our athletes for the first Slalom session. After the second one, our cool down program will make sure that our racers will be entirely ready for the next training day.
