Hugo Nindl founded Austria Racing Camps, in 1975. Having won the titles of Austrian Junior Champion six times, Austrian overall Champion nine times, the World Cup in Slalom and the Professional World Champion twice, he well knew that young talents must be nurtured from an early age. Since 1986 Oliver Nindl has also worked for the Racing Camps supporting his father.
Great demand and success soon led to the original concept of Summer Camps being extended to Winter and Autumn Camps and nowadays the trainer team works with the athletes all the year round.
The traditional Classic Camps developed into one of the most successful racing sports programmes world-wide. In 2002 the “Elite Camps” were added to the programme as the trainers realised the potentials of being able to support their athletes in an even more individual and intensive way.
